Evidence Ownership
Evidence gathered on investigations is joint
ownership and copyrighted by the client and Northern Lights Paranormal.
All evidence and information gathered is held in confidence within the
organization unless agreed otherwise.
Claims and Statements
When working with the media, Northern Lights
Paranormal sees itself as representing the field of paranormal research
very seriously. We have a duty to take due care in the reporting of any
results. Evidence is never sensationalized and Northern Lights
Paranormal will never make unscientific claims, including the conclusion
that a property is haunted or not.
Information Found on Our Website
Unless noted or specified, Northern Lights
Paranormal makes no endorsement, expressed or implied, of any links to
or from its site, nor is it responsible for the content or activities of
any linked sites.
While all attempts are made to ensure the correctness and suitability of
information under our control and to correct any errors brought to our
attention, no representation or guarantee can be made as to the
correctness or suitability of that information or any linked information
presented, referenced, or implied. All critical information should be
independently verified. Any questions should be directed to the
administrators of this or any other specific sites.
Trespassing on Public Land, Private and Posted
Property
Listings are for informational purposes only
and should not be construed to grant permission to trespass. Conducting
an investigating on private or posted property without specific
permission is illegal. We assume no liability for the actions of people
that choose to trespass on private property. Consequences include, but
are not limited to, legal actions, fines, arrest by law enforcement,
jail or imprisonment and a criminal record. We strongly oppose anyone
being on private property without the expressed consent of the property
owner or its legally appointed agent. Furthermore, we don't assume any
liability for any bodily injury, loss of life, or loss / damage to
personal or private property resulting either directly or indirectly
from information found on this site.
Media Relations
Northern Lights Paranormal will not release
any photos, video, EVP or any other evidence until all proper forms have
been completed and signed. This protects our works from being stolen,
exploited and/or misrepresented.
Our members will only agree to publicity if
Northern Lights Paranormal and each member involved receives a hard copy
of said article, story or broadcast/internet event.
Requests for evidence will require a minimum
5 business day advanced notice for us to submit the requested material.
Unless the management team of Northern Lights
Paranormal is present to defend any scrutiny or negative comments that
may be put forth, evidence will not be given for any broadcast or
publication.
We have joint ownership of evidence with our
clients. Because of this joint ownership, evidence cannot be shared
without express consent from the client.
Use of Our Image
All Images are available free of charge. Our
Images are authorized for personal use and for publications that have a
general audience. Use of our Image for personal gain or profit is
prohibited.
Unauthorized use our artwork includes, without limitation, the use of
any Image in combination with material or subject matter that depicts
the Image and/or our organization in a negative or unfavorable light or ridicule, or the
disparagement of a person or product. Use of our Image with sensitive
subjects requires written approval prior to any use with any sensitive
subject.
Absolutely no depictions of illegal
substances, acts of violence, criminal activity, use of alcohol and
tobacco products, sexually suggestive or explicit material, profanity or
extreme speech is permitted with use of our Image.
By using our Image, you agree to our terms
and agree to immediately stop using our Image should we ask you to do
so. By copying, downloading or publishing our link and/or Image, you imply your
